About the Event
Course description
Learners will gain an understanding of a variety of mental health conditions and raise their awareness of what they can do to start a supportive conversation to encourage early intervention, leading to better chance of recovery. LEarners will get a great understanding of the many types of mental health illnesses, how to recognise the signs and symptoms, how to approach sensitive conversations and where to signpost for early intervention for better chances of recovery.
Who is it for?
This is for anyone who wants to develop their knowledge and understanding around some of the misunderstood mental health conditions, and also wants to develop their supportive skills to create and sustain a positive wellbeing environment.
This course covers subjects that learners may find distressing, including suicide and self-harm, and you need to consider if you would be comfortable attending this training
